But perhaps the most common trait of the most popular hotels in New York is their location: Times Square. Nine out of 10 of the most wanted hotels are in the heart of NYC. Check them out.
Luma Hotel Times Square
With a super high rating, Luma Hotel in Times Square is one of the favorite NY accommodation of Oprah Winfrey. It’s a 4-star just in the very city center, minutes away from Times Square, Bryant Park, and Rockefeller Center. The reason why it’s so popular is simple: it’s a boutique hotel, has only 6 rooms per floor, has a world-class spa, a nice environmental touch, and an amazing restaurant with Spanish-Basque flavors. Prices at Luma generally start from 400 US$, but sometimes you can get discounts and pay around 15-20% less.
New York Marriott Marquis
In the heart of the city, in Times Square, you have one of the champions of all searches. New York Marriott Marquis is a 4-star with prices starting around 400-500 US$, with a pet-friendly policy, spa, gym, business center, and a breathtaking terrace to enjoy the NY view.
Archer Hotel New York
This is another hot boutique hotel in midtown that makes guest fall in love. Archer Hotel New York has prices starting around 350 US$, has a pet-friendly policy and one of those rooftop bars (Spyglass) that are a must-see. It is less than 600m from the Empire State Building and the New York Public Library.
Best Western Plus Plaza
This is the best match between price and benefits, but a bit away from the city center. From only 134 US$ a night, you can stay at this 3-star Best Western in Long Island, close to public transportation. It’s less than 5km from Central Park and Grand Central Terminal, has breakfast included in most prices, and has a spa, gym, and a business center. It’s certainly the best option if you are tight on a budget but needs some comfort.
